Hooley Plunge To Be Held Tomorrow

Tomorrow is the day when hundreds of area residents brave the icy March waters of Lake Habeeb for a great cause- the Allegany County Special Olympics and other programs for the developmentally disabled. It’s the eighth annual Hooley Plunge held each March at Rocky Gap State Park. Last year, they raised more than $104,000. At this year’s event, March 3, it is hoped that a record-breaking $110,000 will generated by between 700 and 800 Plungers. One again the chief organizer for the community fund raiser is Dr Sean McCagh who talked with WCBC News about the event…
