House Republicans Point to Management; Not Taxes

Maryland House Republicans said this week the state needs better management of transportation revenue, not more taxes. The House GOP criticized several proposals made by the Senate president, including a 3 percent sales tax on a gallon of gas. But Senate President Thomas Mike Miller was equally harsh in his response accusing those opposing the plans as being out of touch with the realities of the issue.

    The only one out of touch with reality is Miller, he (Miller is out of money to use for his pet projects like the Baltimore County Schools) and why should some who has never used and never will use Metro pay for it.
