Whatever side of the debate you are on, there is agreement there are financial issues that need to be addressed with EMS services in Allegany County.
Department of Emergeny Services Director Jim Pyles tells WCBC News, that he has been looking at areas which have gone through the same hard choices, and told us there is one in Maryland in Howard County, that made similar moves a decade ago.
Could Volunteer Fire Departments be next? Pyles tells WCBC News, that he does not see any change with VFD's in the foreseeable future..
