Identity theft in Maryland

The Maryland Department of Human Resources has contacted some Maryland residents informing them that some of their personal information may have been compromised. First and last naes, social security numbers and date of birth could have been exposed to others. The letter does say that there is no indication that the information has been used inappropriately.
