Potomac Edison personnel replaced a utility pole in the 27000 block of Garrett Highway in the area of Accident early Wednesday afternoon. The Garrett County 911 Emergency Center said a truck pulled down lines connected to the pole, resulting in disruption of various services. Service was expected to be restored by 2 p.m. A main fiber optic line was also damaged and it may take several days to restore Internet service.
