Maryland State Police Hagerstown Barrack confirms to WCBC News that a jackknifed tractor trailer has cause major traffic headaches on westbound Interstate 70 at the 1 mile marker near Hancock.
The mishap occurred at 10:40 AM, and has backed up traffic for over 10 miles. Detours have been set up.
The rig went off of the road and up a hill. Crews have gotten the rig back onto the road, but road issues continued as of 2 PM.
