After all this time and watching all of those cop shows I was under the impression that anyone who was arrested and remanded into custody was searched as a matter of routine before being placed into their cell.
I guess that they just take the shoe strings and belt to prevent hanging but let them keep the drugs.
What a slipshod organization. What happened to procedure? Whatever happened to common sense?

If she placed the drugs in her anal cavity or female genitalia it would be hard to find. All jails need body scanners like an airport has. If there were a way to not waste money on Baltimore St., trains, canals, psychologists & police officers in every school, etc. it could be afforded.
