Cumberland city police reported to Jane Frazier Village Saturday for a reported disturbance. A female victim said that she had been assaulted. The victim had been punched in the face and officers located 23 year old Leroy Johnson III of Cumberland. A search of Johnson revealed pills in his pocket. Johnson was charged with 1st degree assault, 2nd degree assault, use of a deadly weapon with intent to injure, theft, and possession of CDS. Johnson was taken before a district court commissioner and released on $10,000 bond.
