It was 50 years ago today when President John F Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas bringing an abrupt halt to a period in Washington that some historians have referred to as “Camelot”. Anytime a life is ended at such a young age, the question is asked “what might have been”. While there is no shortage of books on the subject of how Kennedy’s assassination may have altered world history, Bambacus said such speculation is just that…speculation…and it’s difficult to project how history would have played out had JFK had lived…
