A job fair held Thursday at Allegany College of Maryland, organized after the recent layoff of 100 employees at CSX Transportation's Cumberland rail yard, proved to be a huge success with a steady stream of job seekers on hand throughout the three hour event. The job fair, held in the college gym, was open to any Allegany County resident seeking employment, but especially designed to provide opportunities for employees affected by CSX layoffs.
