A joint legislative hearing was held in Annapolis Tuesday with a focus on violent crime in Baltimore. The Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee and the Baltimore City Delegation to the House and Senate conducted the first in what they hope will be a series of hearings on the subject. Mayor Catherine Pugh, Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby, Baltimore City Schools CEO Sonja Santelises, and several members of the city council were among those who testified.
