The National Journal has named Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley as a candidate to replace Janet Napolitano as the Secretary of Homeland Security. According to O'Malley's press secretary, said he has not been asked to run for the cabinet position, and does not have any interest in the post. There has been much speculation that O'Malley will run on the Democratic ticket for president.
