Judge Orders Separate Trials For Baltimore Six

September 2nd, 2015 by WCBC Radio

A Baltimore Circuit Court judge has ruled that all six Baltimore police officers charged in connection with the death of Freddie Gray will be tried separately.

WBAL Radio is reporting that Judge Barry Williams has denied the state's motions to try three of the officers as a group. He said evidence against any of the three is not mutually admissible and "not in the interest of justice."

The initial trial date for all six officers was set for October 13.  Now, the court calendar will have to be set for the six separate trials.
