Justice Assesses Short-Term Future of High School Sports within COVID Context

Although there were a record number of COVID-19 cases in West Virginia over a 24-hour period – and 23 additional deaths — MIneral County's numbers improved slightly, dropping from red to orange on the state's COVID education map. Orange still does not allow for in-person instruction or extracurricular activities. Coaches in the county remain hopeful that the numbers will improve enough in the coming days to allow for football games to be played this weekend. Governor Jim Justice offered his assessment….
