It's being touted by the Virgin Group as the next step in transportation. A high-speed system in which a capsule travels through an enclosed tube at nearly 700 mph- and it will locate in West Virginia. Construction for the Hyperloop Certification Center could begin in by the middle of 2021. The facility will be located on 800 acres in Grant and Tucker counties. It’s expected to be about six miles long with a curved track that features West Virginia’s geographical elements. According to officials at the roundtable, there will be about 150 to 200 full time Virgin Hyperloop jobs. Local talent will fill short time jobs such as construction and oversight personnel. They are in need of engineers and construction workers.
