As part of Governor Jim Justice’s roads plan, the Governor will sign a key piece of legislation (Senate Bill 1003) to leverage West Virginia Turnpike toll collections to issue new road building bonds, and allow West Virginians the opportunity to drive free for a flat fee.
Governor Justice will also announce the date of the road bond referendum, when West Virginia voters will go to the polls to approve part of the Governor’s massive road construction plan.
