On Sunday April 3, 2016 at 16:08 pm, Cumberland City Police were patrolling a basketball game at the YMCA on Baltimore Street. During the game one of the juvenile players exited the building and began causing a disturbance in the street. He was instructed several times to calm down and leave the area however he refused. When officers attempted to place him under arrest he fled the area on foot. After a short chase the subject was apprehended and transported to Cumberland City Police Department where they were processed and released to their parents.
