Recent poll numbers show Maryland’s republican governor with approval ratings in the upper sixties- scoring high marks from democrats and republicans alike. In addition, a national poll shows Larry Hogan as the second most popular governor in the nation. In spite of that glowing report card- Baltimore County Executive, democrat, Kevin Kamenetz tells WBAL he is giving serious consideration to making a gubernatorial run in 2018. He is one is one of several possible Democratic candidates for governor, and said this week is thinking about a run. He said while Hogan has a strong approval rating, he has serious concerns with the governor’s education, transportation and environmental policies….
