June 7th, 2018 by WCBC Radio

On June 5, 2018, 34 year old Joshua Dye of Keyser WV was placed under arrest for Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Delivery Substance by the West Virginia State Police Keyser Detachment.  Police initially responded to a report of a two vehicle crash along SR 46 near Susan Fleek Road.  Prior to arrival, Mr. Dye had attempted to leave the scene on foot prior to being encountered by neighbors and then the police upon arrival.  Mr. Dye was found to have in his possession several narcotics and a loaded firearm which lead to his arrest.

Also involved in the crash were Mr. and Mrs. Wendell and Lisa Miller (59 and 51 respectively) both of Keyser, WV.  Both the Fort Ashby and Fountain Fire Department responded to the scene along with their ambulances to transport the Millers to the Western Maryland Health System.

The traffic investigation indicated Mr. Dye crossed the center line and struck the Miller's truck, forcing it to roll over an embankment leaving Mrs. Miller initially entrapped.  Additional charges are pending including, but not limited to, DUI causing injury, left of center, and driving revoked for DUI.
