Throughout the day, WCBC and other local businesses and individuals have been experiencing phone issues which seem to be limited from landlines to U S Cellular customers.
UPMC Western Maryland has also had the issues, and reports the problem is due to fiber issues from today's high winds and storms. U S Cellular is working on the problem.
If you need to reach the hospital, dial their landline at 240-964-7000.
