Large amount of stolen property recovered by law enforcement

August 27th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of the Potomac Highlands Violent Crimes and Narcotics Task Force has recovered a large amount of property in the course of conducting a theft investigation throughout the past several months. If anyone has had their vehicles, garages, or homes broken into in Cresaptown, Belair, Rawlings, McCoole, Westernport, Lonaconing, or Mineral County areas within the last year, please contact Sr. Dep. Grimm so items may be returned to their rightful owners.

If you have been a victim and haven’t reported the theft, please contact your local Law Enforcement agency to file your initial report and have them reference the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office case: A2020-08189
