Legendary talk show host Larry King, whose career took him from local to syndicated radio to global TV stardom, has died at the age of 87.
WCBC carried King's overnight talk show from Mutual Broadcasting from the late 70's to the mid 90's, and once brought him to Cumberland for a promotional appearance.
On January 2, King was hospitalized in Los Angeles for COVID-19. A statement from his production company, Ora Media, said King passed away this morning (Saturday) at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
