Allegany County 911 tells WCBC News that ten fire companies have responded to a house fire on Maryland Street in LaVale. Companies on the scene or on standby include LaVale, Cresaptown, Bowling Green, Wiley Ford, Frostburg, Shaft, Corriganville, Ridgeley, Ellerslie, and Rawlings.
THe Maryland State Fire Marshal office has also responded.
UPDATE: At 1:50 this was still considered to be a working fire.
