July 29th, 2019 by WCBC Radio

Late Saturday night, at 11:36 PM, Deputies from the Allegany Sheriff's Office investigated a attempted Breaking and Entering at a McMullen Highway business.  The suspect broke glass to the front door; however did not enter the business.

A short while later, on 7/28/19, at approximately 0730 hrs., a reported Breaking and Entering was reported on a second business, which was located a short distance away from the first incident. Deputies responded and located broken glass and blood droppings at the business as well as a trail of blood that led away from the business to a residence near by.  Deputies made contact with the individual in the residence and the investigation revealed that the individual they were speaking with was in fact the suspect of the both incidents.

Furthermore, as a result of the investigation, a search warrant was obtained and executed at a McMullen Highway address and numerous items from the second business was recovered.

As a result, a 35 year old Lavale man was arrested and identified as Andrew James Kile of  Lavale, Maryland. Kile was transported to the Allegany County Detention center awaiting a bond hearing.
