Lawmakers Field Environmental Questions at Summit

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, House Speaker Michael Busch, and Senate President Mike Miller fielded a large number of environment questions  from audience members this week at the 2017 Annapolis Summit. The Summit has become an annual tradition where legislative and executive leadership discuss the key budget and policy issues of the pending Session. Key among the environmental issues discussed included natural gas hydraulic fracturing (commonly known as “fracking”).  Miller said while polls show general opposition to fracking statewide- that doesn’t mean it should be banned…
