We continue our coverage of the story WCBC News presented yesterday concerning a pending lawsuit alleging that former District 1C Delegate LeRoy Myers sexually harassed Washington County Assistant Administrator Sarah Sprecher. We reached out for comment to Sprecher’s attorney, Elias Saboura. While declining our request for a recorded interview, Saboura did say, and we paraphrase, that the letter leaked to WCBC News Tuesday speaks for itself and that all of the information in the letter is supported by facts and testimony. Sprecher says County Commissioner Myers made inappropriate advances toward her while the two were on an economic development mission to South Korea in October, and has continued to create a hostile work environment in the time since. In a brief interview with WCBC News conducted Tuesday afternoon, Myers said the claims are untrue and denied doing anything wrong.
