Last week, we found out that CSX issued 1099 tax forms to residents of Hyndman who had received money after being displaced during a train derailment in August.
Local CPA Gina Hamm told us that the forms should not have been sent out, but if you received one, there is a process to make sure you don’t pay tax on the money…
