Local Man Accused of Passing Counterfeit Bills

 A Cumberland man was recently indicted in federal court on charges of passing counterfeit money. The Cumberland Times News reports Barry Eugene Dragovich, 40, faces five counts of uttering counterfeit obligations and securities, U.S. Attorney Bill Powell said.

 

The alleged crimes occurred from May to August 2017 in Harrison County.

Dragovich appeared before a federal magistrate judge Wednesday. He faces up to 20 years' incarceration and a fine of up to $250,000 for each count.
