Main Gas Line Explosion In Artemis

WCBC News has learned of a main gas line explosion in Artemis, Pa near the Columbia Gas transmission plant around 12:35 a.m. Thursday morning. The main gas line fire has been contained and residents in the area were evacuated. There are no reported injuries. Fire units remain on the scene extinguishing a structure fire caused by the explosion. Approximately 25 to 30 fire units from Maryland, West Virginia, and Pennsylvannia responded to the scene.
