Making Weather Calls A No-Win Situation For School Superintendents

Winter weather has proven a challenge for public school superintendents in western Maryland in recent weeks- and as is usually the case, those making the call are essentially faced with a no-win situation. Although Allegany County School Superintendent David Cox begins February with a near budget crisis- as well as having to deal with his contract coming to an end- making the right weather call, based on forecasts, may be the most difficult part of his job…
