Cumberland Police are currently investigating a robbery investigation that occurred on Saturday in the 300 block of Columbia Street.
The adult male victim reported to police that earlier in the day he was walking and in the process of taking his jacket off when an unknown person came up from behind him and cut his arm with an unknown object. The suspect took an amount of currency before fleeing from the scene.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Cumberland Police Department at 301-777-1600. The victim received treatment at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center for minor injuries.
