Maplehurst needed 4 points to tie Cumberland Country Club, but instead earned 4 1/2 to earn a third straight Carroll Bogg's Tournament title at Maplehurst. Maplehurst needed just 4 points of the 12 singles matches scheduled to keep the title in Frostburg.
