It appears as though there will be a strong effort during this session of the Maryland General Assembly to legalize marijuana- but don’t look for support from leadership. While a recent Washington Post article quoted Senate President Mike Miller as endorsing the concept- the veteran lawmaker told WCBC News that isn’t the case. He said he was mis represented in the article and that while he does believe that ulimately it will be legalized on a national level- such a bill won’t be approved by the Maryland General Assembly- at least not this year.
