Count Maryland’s two Democratic Senators among those with strong criticisms of President Trump for his remarks made during a post meeting press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Although America’s intelligence community has stated that there is clear evidence showing that Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential election- Trump appeared to be side with Putin’s version over the FBI and CIA on the issue. Senator Ben Cardin called it “shocking” while Senator Chris Van Hollen said it was a “bad day for America”. Van Hollen says at this point it’s imperative to put politics aside and for republicans and democrats to work together to address the Russian meddling issue…
