Maryland Hardest Hit in Possible Government Shutdown

A government shutdown would be costly in Maryland, according to Maryland Secretary of Budget and Management Eloise Foster. A rough estimate says it would cost Maryland about $5 million per day. Lawmakers in Washington D.C. are trying to eliminate a government shutdown, voting on it in the House last week.
