Transportation officials in Maryland are increasing police and canine explosive detection patrols throughout the transportation network.
The actions come after explosions at the Brussels airport and on its subway system killed dozens and injured hundreds on Tuesday.
A spokeswoman for Department of Transportation says the actions aren't because of a specific or credible threat against the state's mass transit.
