Maryland May Drop Current Health Care Website

Now that the initial enrollment period has ended, Maryland apparently is going to abandon its glitch plagued health insurance website this week. The Washington Post reported that the board of the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange will vote today on a measure to shut down the state's website, and combine it with Connecticut's in time for the next enrollment period which begins November 15. Connecticut officials told WBAL News earlier this month that they had met with Maryland officials to discuss the issue. Lt. Governor Anthony Brown, on Saturday, said that the state is exploring options, and that it is not likely the state will keep it's website…
