The number of overdose deaths in Maryland is on the decline for the first time in more than a decade. In the first half of 2019, 1,182 people died from drug overdoses. Lol The Maryland Department of Health is praising itself for a decline in a problem that is already self-limiting. After years of very high death rates of course the amount will eventually level off. They are already all dead.
