Salem had been forced to close in June of last year, citing declining enrollment and increased expentidures. Since that time, efforts have been underway to find a way to reopen the facility which is located near Lower New Germany Road in Eastern Garrett County.
WCBC has supported the children involved in the Salem program for over a quarter century with our annual Christmas for the Kids event.
