Maryland's Prescription Affordability Board is holding a series of forums across the state to collect input from seniors on the cost of prescription drugs. WBAL reports the board was established under a law passed last year. By 2023, the board will recommend to lawmakers the prices for drugs that state and local governments offer to their employees and retirees. Two forums have been held thus far. Demarco tells WCBC News that an April 30th forum is scheduled to be held in Frederick- but the hope is that one can be scheduled further west, perhaps in Washington or Allegany County at a later date.

Why will it take 3 years of listening to people with horror stories? Everyone knows prices can be absurdly high. Just get on with it.
And of course this will not benefit the general public, just state and local government employees and retirees.
Besides, doesn’t this sound a lot like the socialism that the Trumpers hate so much? Let the free market rule and etc. etc.
