Sentencing for former Mountain Ridge High School Teacher Bar Alan Mazer is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon in Allegany County Circuit Court. Mazer pleaded guilty in March to fourth degree sex offense in two cases. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered and will apparently be key in how much jail time, if any, that Mazer receives. His plea did trigger the filing of a civil lawsuit by one of the victims.
