The chairman of the Maryland Commission on Innovation and Excellence in Education addressed the Greater Cumberland Committee at Frostburg State University Thursday.
Chancellor Emeritus Dr Brit Kirwan began an hour long presentation by noting those in attendance who have had, or are still having, a great impact on education policy in the state…
Following the presentation, Dr Kirwan took input from members of The Greater Cumberland Committee, and agreed to appear on WCBC next month to gather additional comments prior to the finalization of the commission's report, which is expected to have a major impact on all facets of education, including funding.
