MD Comptroller Peter Franchot Calls MD’s Economy “Lethargic”

Speaking prior to Wednesday’s Board of Public Works meeting, Comptroller Peter Franchot called Maryland's economy "lethargic" and said that ultimately the citizens of the state will determine who won and who lost during the General Assembly Session.  There has been a great deal of back and forth in the past few days regarding Governor Larry Hogan’s fiscal plans versus the program supported by the Democrat controlled House and Senate. Franchot said its not about politics, it’s about doing what is best for the taxpayers- and to date the economy has not rebounded….
