Maryland Speaker of the House Michael Busch wants to see the upcoming 90 day session of the general assembly push for a break for college students. During an interview conducted just a week before the start of the session, Busch said he would hope that lawmakers can approve a budget that allows state universities to cut tuition, noting it would give students and their parents a break financially. He says the skyrocketing costs of college tuition is placing an unfair burden on the middle and lower classes- and creating an uneven playing field when it comes to who can and cannot afford a higher education…
