MD State School Superintendent Says Students Need To Be Prepared For Traditional & Non-Traditional Jobs

Dr. Karen Salmon, Maryland's state school superintendent, is about to enter her sixth month on the jobs- and she says she is prepared to build onto an already successful program. With more than 40 years experience in education, the superintendent said while the primary learning focus is academics, the state can't afford to overlook the need to prepare students for traditional and non-traditional jobs. Salmon has made frequent contact with every superintendent in the state a top priority….
