MD State Superindendent Says There’s Still A Long Way To Go With PARCC Assessments

Maryland State Superintendent Karen Salmon said that for all the progress made in the fourth year of the yearly PARCC assessments, there's clearly a long way to go. Less than half of Maryland's elementary and middle school students are meeting the standard for college and career readiness on a test they'll need to pass to graduate next year.
