Mumps Found At Fort Hill

Lab testing has confirmed four cases of mumps at Fort Hill High School. In response to the outbreak, the Allegany County Health Department and the Board of Education, in cooperation with Maryland health officials & the CDC are planning an after-school vaccination clinic at Fort Hill for students and staff to receive a booster dose of the MMR vaccine, which has been effective.
