Mikulski Leads Senate Women in Condemning Nigeria Abductions

As the U.S. government sends a group of law enforcement and military experts to Nigeria to help with the mass kidnapping of school girls, Senator Barbara Mikulski, a Maryland Democrat, had an voiced outrage over the situation. Mikulski and Maine Senator Susan Collins led twenty Senate women in sending a bipartisan letter to President Obama condemning the abduction and mistreatment of more than 200 girls by the terrorist group Boko Haram in Chibok, Nigeria and calling for additional international sanctions against the organization.
