Miller Discusses Impact of ‘Fiscal Cliff’ on Maryland

As the President worked with Congress in the final hours of 2012 to aver the so-called fiscal cliff- Maryland state leaders discussed how the state would be impacted by failing to reach a deal. Maryland would be hit hard by the loss of hundreds of millions of dollars in funds and tens of thousands of jobs. Maryland has many federal workers and  businesses that rely on the federal government. State Senator Mike Miller talked about how Maryland would shoulder a greater burden than other states.
