Miller Says Revenue Flows Elsewhere Waiting on Gambling

State Senate President Mike Miller says it takes no more than a glance at who are the strongest opponents of expanded gambling in the state- to realize it is the right thing to do, at least fiscally. The senate moved has moved quickly in special session to approve the governor’s proposal which includes the addition of table games, as well as a sixth slots casino in the state. The house is expected to have much more debate on the issue.  Miller says that as long as Maryland continues to lag behind in gambling, revenues will continue to flow toward neighboring states.
